We understand single individuals and know they often feel alone and wonder how to fit comfortably into the church so that they can feel fulfilled, happy and needed. In His Image answers these questions through biblical teaching, friendship, and group activities. Colleen is Singles Director at First Assembly. Born in Nassau Bahamas, Colleen spent her middle and high school years between the Bahamas and England. By God’s miraculous intervention, Colleen moved to Fort Myers in 1992 and accepted the Lord as her personal Savior. It is here that she began to let God work in her life. . . transforming her into "His Image."

Cape Coral is home to Colleen. Colleen has been a single parent since 1993. She knows what a challenge single parenting is but proclaims that God has supplied all of her needs on a daily basis. Now in a new season of her life “empty nest” she is able to continue in ministry to singles and single parents. A ministry to single parents to help facilitate them in expanding their lives through seminar which include, finances, education, Biblical principles & daily living principles. Singles Reaching Singles in Christ, Inc. is a fellowship of single adults from a variety of denominational backgrounds. SRS is a non-profit organization established for the purpose of ministering to single adults throughout the southeast United States.

• Provide opportunity for instruction in the whole gospel of Jesus Christ as it relates to the spiritual and social needs and lives of singles
• Create an atmosphere for Christian related worship and growth
• Support and encourage single missionaries
• And encourage singles to be faithful to their Lord Jesus Christ and their local church body.

Habitat for Humanity of Lee County, Inc. is a charitable, non-profit organization dedicated to providing housing for those who cannot otherwise afford a decent place to live, with the ultimate goal of eliminating sub-standard housing in Lee County, contributing to family and community stability. If you would like more information please call Habitat at 239-652-0434 The Singles Ministry sends monthly support to missionaries Janice Cole, Jeanie Turner and Jackie Talent. These ladies are all single and are on the mission field serving and reaching the lost. Join us on the 3rd Friday of each month at 7pm in room 217 in the children’s center. We are studying along with Dr Kevin Leman’s series “Single Parenting that Works, Raising Well – Balanced Children in an Off- Balanced World”. There is child care provided with a reservation.
